Point Logic in Canada, develops custom upgrades and we work closely with Point Logic International in developing full custom application software packages. Currently, most development is undertaken in C, Visual C++ and VB with internet interfaces and technologies supported by Java or .Net technologies. Point Logic and Point Logic International are involved with internet based commerce primarily from the aspect of database implementation.

Database upgrades:
Point Logic maintains and upgrades, Microsoft SQL, Access and FoxPro databases as well as Oracle databases and IBM DB2.

Database migration:
We will undertake all or part of a data migration project on a special quote basis.

Custom upgrades and macros developed:
Currently we write macros for most major commercial applications (the most popular being the members of Microsoft Office) as well as scripts and logic for most major database platforms (see above).

Custom drivers:
We write custom hardware and software drivers on a special quote basis.

Custom Hardware Integration Software:

We will create special software to bridge between different pieces of hardware - this is on a special quote basis.

Encryption and security applications:
We implement standard security packages, customize packages and create new packages as indicated. Special quote basis. We also offer high-security "Scramdisk" technology with your choice of security algorithm implemented (and user changeable) for $200.00 per machine licenses included. Scramdisk is highly secure and to the best of our knowledge will secure data from all known forms of attack. If you have extensive or intense security needs it is best if you discuss your specific needs with us so that we can recommend the most cost and user effective solution available.
